Meet Justin Fetters, an oboist based in the vibrant Columbus, Ohio area. His musical journey started in the second grade, sparked by a fascination with the flute, and later expanded to include the enchanting world of the oboe during fifth grade.

Justin pursued his musical education diligently, earning a Bachelor of Music degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and further enriching his skills with a Master of Music from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.

With an extensive repertoire spanning the oboe, flute, clarinet, and saxophone, Justin has established himself as a seasoned performer across various stages. Alongside his artistic pursuits, he finds immense gratification in teaching music within a public school district, shaping the talents of young musicians.

Justin extends his expertise to aspiring musicians and students through private lessons on all wind instruments. Guided by his mentors, including acclaimed figures like Thomas Ehrman, Kelli Short, Sandra Stimson, Jan Eberle, Dr. Michele Fiala, Jack Harel, and instructors at the Interlochen Arts Academy Oboe Session, Justin is dedicated to nurturing the musical passion in others.

In addition to his public school teaching, Justin and his wife, Mary Brandal, have created "Mary's School of Music" in their Clintonville home studio, where they offer private lessons on all wind instruments. With guidance from esteemed mentors, Justin is dedicated to fostering musical passion in aspiring musicians.
